Experience flying the iconic Spitfire in our simulator

Age

The Simulator is open to pilots aged 16 or over as we cannot guarantee a quality experience for anyone younger.

Physical requirements

Due to the realistic dimensions of the cockpit, the maximum shoulder width to comfortably sit is 65cm and weight is a maximum 120kg. In order to comfortably reach the rudder pedals, we recommend a minimum height of 5' (152cm).

Pilots should be fit enough to be able to climb in and out of the cockpit, just as the RAF pilots would have had to do.

Timings

Pilots should arrive at least 10 minutes before their session is due to commence. Late arrivals run the risk of not experiencing a full flight.

Important Information

Bookings must be made in advance.

Please note the simulator contains flashing images.
