Conference Room

2024 saw the completion of a new administration building at the museum, replacing a temporary building that had been in place for over 30 years.

As part of this development a 25 seat Conference room was added as a multifunctional space to enable the museum to:

  • Better facilitate educational visits
  • Host regular talks on a variety of subjects (Please see our ‘news’ section on the homepage for the latest talks)
  • Host third party providers of workshops and activities
  • Provide meeting/interview space for local businesses who may need it.
  • Better facilitate educational visits

The room is fitted with a digital projector and 100” screen with HDMI/Bluetooth connectivity.

We are very grateful to Military and Aviation Artist David Bryant who has painted a large mural of The Museum’s Spitfire Mk XVI (LF) TB752 in Combat on the 1st of May 1945 just after scoring its penultimate combat victory.

If you wish to make use of this facility, please contact us on enquiries@spitfiremuseum.org.uk in the first instance and a member of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.

As a charity, we do ask for a minimum donation of £40 for a half day (10AM – 1PM) or £75 for a full day (10AM – 4PM). All monies raised are put towards the upkeep of the Museum.

Support Our Work

Donations are very gratefully received. Not only because they let us know that we enjoy the support and interest of our visitors but also because, like many charities, we can claim Gift Aid support which could add an additional 20% to our donated income.
